For years I wanted to build a cost effective container home off grid and when the tiny homes expo hit Brisbane, I had to check it out. Covid really changed my perspective and I think many others as well. The Expo had a huge turnout of prospective buyers and different exhibitors showcasing trailer homes, pod homes and container homes. I went to every exhibitor one by one and got myself a lacka sun burn in the process. I just kept thinking how expensive they were and when you broke it down per sqm what you were paying, it was crazy expensive. My career in sales and product development means I deal with imported products, suppliers and factories from around the world on a multitude of products. So, I decided to walk my own walk as I’ve done in my career and use my expertise and build a container home offshore and import it myself.
